Ernest Wilczyński
Graduate from Lodz Film School and Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
Cinematographer on “Radwan” directed by Teresa Czepiec, awarded at Parnu Film Festival (Estonia) for Best Short Documentary and nominated at the 2018 Camerimage Festival. Ernest was responsible for a cinematography of a US produced political documentary “End Game” by John Sullivan, currently in post-production. His feature debut „Caged Swallow” directed by Bartosz Warwas is the second full-length diploma produced in Lodz Film School after „Identification Marks: None” by Jerzy Skolimowski.
Ernest gained his professional experience working as a camera operator alongside recognized cinematographers, including Oscar-nominated Łukasz Żal (Here After, High Frontier, Dovlatov, Cold War), Jerzy Zieliński (Man, Chicks are different; Summer Solstice) and Monika Lenczewska (Strange Heaven, Under the Tree), co-creating, among others Paweł Pawlikowski’s Cold War (Oscar nominee including Best Cinematography, ASC award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography in Theatrical Releases, Silver Frog in Main Competition of Camerimage Film Festival).
